Search basics: one address, a map of the site and a title for every page

DonePage optimization

Google now finds every page, sees each one at a single address and reads a clear title and description for it. Our search checklist went from 23 to 61 of 70.

What we did

  • One address per page. On the old site the home page opened under three addresses (with www, without, and /index.html), so Google saw three copies. Now www and http forward to tvmountingus.com and the duplicate is gone.
  • A map of the site for Google (sitemap) with all 39 pages and their photos, and a robots file that points Google to it and keeps the CRM out.
  • A title and description written for every page, short enough to show in full in search results.
  • A "breadcrumb" trail on every inner page (Home › Blog › …), which Google can show in results.
  • A preview card for sharing: when someone posts a link on Facebook, Messenger or WhatsApp, it shows your name, services, phone and hours.
  • Google's own checker gives every page we tested 100 / 100 for search basics.

Why it matters

Google can only show pages it finds and understands. Every page now has one address, one title and a place in the map.
